VIO-LENCE To Issue New CD Through Label Of Former EXODUS Manager
September 23, 2002Reunited San Francisco Bay Area thrashers VIO-LENCE will likely issue their next studio album through a new label entity formed by former EXODUS manager Toni Isabella and one-time Capitol Records A&R executive Rachel Matthews (who signed EXODUS and RIGOR MORTIS to the label back in the late '80s),guitarist Phil Demmel has told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. Demmel and vocalist Sean Killian plan to spend the next several months penning the material for the as-yet-untitled record, which will feature a musical direction along the lines of the group's acclaimed 1988 debut, Eternal Nightmare. Also planned for release through the same label are a live CD and DVD from the group, recorded last December 14th at Slim's in San Francisco, as well as a reissue of Eternal Nightmare, featuring bonus cuts not found on the original version.
